Vice Chairman, Department of Emergency Medicine

Harvard Medical School
Dr. Ali S. Raja is the Executive Vice Chair of Emergency Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School, and has contributed to the Walls Manual of Emergency Airway Management.
Dr. Raja feels that every shift he works at MGH serves as a learning moment for both him and his residents. He has been teaching since college, and quickly fell in love with it. The best guidance he has for those who want to improve their airway management skills is to “stay calm, and always follow the algorithms.”
In his free time he is learning to play piano alongside his six-year-old son.
