The Difficult Airway Course: Virtual 2020 welcomed over 250 attendees for three dynamic days of airway education in October. The attendees hailed from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Guam, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Thailand, UAE, UK, and the USA. This geographically diverse group also represented multiple specialties, including anesthesiology, emergency medicine, critical care medicine, pre-hospital medicine, respiratory therapy, and surgery.
Hosted by airway management pioneer Michael Murphy MD and featuring the world-class faculty of The Difficult Airway Courses, this first-ever virtual course was a lively mix of airway talks, procedural videos, Q&A, and case panel discussions. The fast-paced program focused on the most critical lessons of difficult and failed airway management.
