Authorized Training Centers (ATCs) are granted the right to deliver The Difficult Airway Course: EMS™, Essentials of Advanced Airway Management™ and Fundamentals of Airway Management™ to students within a defined region. They can offer these courses as part of an accredited initial training program for paramedics, EMTs or allied health providers, or as continuing education for their employees and other providers from outside of their organization.
Residency Programs can be a part of this patient safety initiative by becoming a Program Member or by hosting a course. Program Membership enables the residency program’s faculty to teach the curriculum as either a one-day program or multiple airway sessions through the year. For a Hosted Course, AMEC faculty go to the residency program’s location to teach a complete one-day course.
We will work with you to create a customized airway course tailored to your group’s specific needs. By eliminating travel time and expenses, you can optimize your training budget and make education easy for your staff. As we work together over time, your faculty take on increasing responsibility for teaching (an excellent faculty development opportunity) leading to a very cost effective, customized approach to airway education.
